On Jan 18th around 2:17 pm, my phone kept ringing for a good minute or so. I didn't pick up since the number was unfamiliar, but I decided to look it up here afterwards.

Received an automated call, definitely a spam effort.

I recently received a dodgy phone call from someone purporting to be from BT Openreach. They alleged that our internet service had been breached, which immediately raised my suspicions. Honestly, it felt like a classic scam associated with BT! The irony? BT isn’t even the provider I use!

Somebody with a strange accent rang me up saying there was an issue with my internet. I quickly told them it was a scam and hung up straight away.
