Pretty sure it was some kind of fake robotic bloke claiming to be from BT tech support, warning me that my internet would be switched off in a day because they'd supposedly found a hack on my IP. They asked me to press some numbers on my phone, but having a recording wouldn't have done much anyway since it sounded automated.

Got a recorded call claiming to be from TalkTalk saying my internet and phone line would be cut off. It asked me to press 1 to speak to an engineer or 2 to keep going. Seemed dodgy to me.
