So while I was surfing the net, a pop-up suddenly appeared saying there was a serious virus on my computer and it gave a phone number to ring right away. The only way to shut it down was to use the task manager. On the other end of the line, a bunch of dodgy scammers claiming to be from Microsoft tried to trick me into giving my bank info. It's a total scam, really risky stuff. Be careful and don’t fall for those fake virus warnings when you're online.
