I received a rather suspicious call regarding my housing application, which caught me off guard as I hadn’t submitted anything of the sort. The caller then requested my bank details, prompting me to promptly end the conversation. It was evident to me that this individual was attempting to commit fraud and obtain my banking information unlawfully.

Somebody rang me saying they were from some kind of industrial workers office in derby. When I asked where they got my phone number from, they just ended the call straight away!

Told them I couldn't sort the payment on the phone and asked for an email instead. Still waiting for it though, even though I don’t owe EDF anything. Shocking, right?

Got a call from someone saying they needed to talk about my housing application and bank info. Thing is, I never applied for anything like that, so there’s no way I’m handing over my bank details to some stranger pretending to be legit!
