Someone rang me up pretending to be from the council, talking about clearing a pathway or something. Thing is, I never gave them my phone number, so it all felt a bit dodgy to me.

I got a call from a woman with a thick accent, who said her name was Susan. She wanted to ask me a few questions but I was sure it was a scam, so I just told her no and ended the call. The caller ID showed it was from Cheltenham, but it sounded like it was coming from abroad.
