Got a call on my home phone earlier today from someone claiming to be 'BANK SECURITY,' according to the voicemail that picked up. Didn’t say which bank though. It was the typical nonsense about suspicious activity on my account, and a prompt to press 2 to talk to them. I pressed 2, and a guy with a strong Indian accent answered. I ended up giving him a right mouthful, which is pretty unusual for me. As expected, when I tried ringing the number back, it just didn’t go through - the number’s dead.
