I reckon this could be related to Direct Line Insurance. We utilised confused.com, and before long, this number started calling me at all sorts of hours-mornings, evenings, and even weekends! It was just a couple of rings, followed by another round shortly after. Quite persistent, to say the least!

Without a doubt, it's got to be Endsleigh. They've been bombarding us with calls for ages now. It's quite relentless, really!

I had been searching for quotes on both Endsleigh and confused.com, and then I received a call from this number. I didn't pick up, and honestly, I haven’t bothered to return the call. Quite odd, really!

I recently requested a quote for travel insurance through moneysupermarket.com, and today I received a missed call from 01242197000. However, when I tried to return the call, it indicated that the number is not in service. Quite curious, isn't it?

It seems our home insurance policy with Endsligh is about to expire, so we're assuming it's them that called. Can you believe they rang us on a Sunday?

I received a call from 01242197000 but unfortunately didn't answer in time. I tried to ring back using my mobile and a home phone, but it simply said the number isn’t in service. My recommendation would be to just disregard any future calls from this number.

I've just got off the phone with Endsleigh, and I must say, I'm rather impressed with their swift response! I shot off an online request for contents insurance not long ago-around fifteen seconds back, to be precise! What a quick turnaround, those folks are on the ball! I've asked them-politely, of course-to leave me be for the time being since they're offering the most competitive rate, and we'll definitely be going with them. Now, let’s see how they respond to that!

We find ourselves in agreement with Nakib's sentiments. Recently, we were perusing the internet for budget-friendly travel insurance options, and ever since, my phone won't stop buzzing with calls-even during the weekends! Sadly, we let a few of them slip by unnoticed this time around.

Blimey! It’s been under a year, hasn’t it? I thought it was sorted to show the latest updates first. By the way, any heads-up on potential issues?

It's been a couple of years since the last few comments were made, and I sincerely appreciate all the insights shared. Our insurance policy was with Endsleigh and is about to expire.

Our Endsleigh policy was on the verge of expiry. We received a call from a number we didn’t recognise the very next day after obtaining quotes from Confused.com. It seems Direct Line offered the best rate, so it’s possible the call might have been from one of the three companies we looked at. Just a hunch!

Indeed, it is a form of insurance, although it’s one that you willingly enrolled in.

We’ve decided to decline the call as it came through on our landline earlier. I tried ringing back, but nothing happened - it just wouldn’t connect. Our car insurance isn’t due for another few weeks, but our home insurance needed renewing at the end of this month. I’m currently with Endsleigh, but it’s worth noting that our housing provider actually holds a policy with a different provider under our name.

We had previously received a quote from Endsleigh regarding our insurance renewal. Then, out of the blue, this number gives us a ring a few weeks later-on a Saturday, no less! It's quite unacceptable for a company to be making calls on a weekend, especially since we hadn’t asked for them to do so.

I reckon this might be Endsleigh Insurance calling. They often provide a different 0800 number for callbacks. They've only contacted us around the time our policy was up for renewal, but I wouldn't be surprised if they reached out after you've left your details on those insurance comparison websites as well.

We suspect it’s linked to our car insurance, probably something to do with Confused.com. We recently reviewed our insurance details, and soon after, we started getting calls from them. Unfortunately, we’ve missed each one so far.

We're quite baffled, honestly, until we discovered that many of you who bank with Endsleigh are facing the same nuisance calls. Just a heads-up, if you happen to respond, brace yourself for an extremely forceful sales pitch for insurance!

I just had a peculiar experience with a call from this number. They asked for my name and then promptly disconnected. Has anyone got a clue about whose number this might be? I’m quite curious why they decided to ring me in the first place!
