The voice doesn't sound English and seems to be computer generated. The caller asks you to press buttons to either speak with TalkTalk or confirm disconnection. The call came through more than once from a similar number with the same odd message.

I received what seemed to be a recorded message from TalkTalk, warning me about my broadband service being cut off. The voice definitely wasn't British and had a rather robotic tone to it. It urged me to press 1 if I wished to speak to someone at TalkTalk, or 2 if I wanted to proceed with the disconnection. Oddly enough, 15 minutes later, the exact same message came through again from the number 01227411185. Same strange voice, same alarming content.
