I picked up the phone and some bloke said he was calling from utility discounts, claiming he could sort me out with a better rate.

This number has been popping up a lot lately. Even though the area code looks local, I'm pretty sure I shouldn't be getting calls from it. It’s rung me four times all in the evening, between around 3pm and 8pm, but I’m just ignoring it.

I’m pretty sure this is one of those annoying sales calls or maybe a debt collection agency... Could be PPI related too. Either way, they’re a right nuisance. I wouldn’t pick up, cos they never bother leaving a message. Plus, if you ring them back, you might get charged. When I tried calling back, their voicemail said I was waiting in a queue or summat. Best to just block or ignore these calls, in my opinion.
