Last night (02/05/17) I got a call from this number saying there was an issue with my router. They asked me to download some software, and once I did, they tried to take over my computer. Something felt off, so I unplugged my PC straight away. When I asked why they wanted control, they just hung up. I then phoned TalkTalk’s official customer service and they confirmed they hadn’t contacted me at all. Definitely a scam! Luckily, I cut the power before any damage could be done. Watch out for this number!

Got a call on 2nd May 2017 from someone claiming to be with TalkTalk. They said there was an issue with my router and asked if they could access my computer. Seemed dodgy, so I didn't give them any control.

Today, on 02-05-17, I got a call from the number (01241670062). I didn’t pick up, so I’m not sure if it was just a pest or something else. Also, I don’t know anyone living in Arbroath, so that makes me a bit suspicious about the call.
