I received a rather suspicious call last night (02/05/17) regarding an alleged issue with my router. The caller insisted I install a certain software, claiming it would fix the problem. However, when I realised they were attempting to take control of my computer, I found it thoroughly unsettling. I promptly unplugged my PC from the power source. When I inquired about their intentions, they abruptly ended the call. Concerned, I rang TalkTalk's official number, only to learn that no one from their company would ever make such a call. It was clearly a scam. Thankfully, I was quick enough to cut them off before they could do any harm. Just a heads up, folks: this number is definitely dodgy. Stay vigilant!

Received a call on the 2nd of May 2017. The caller purported to be from TalkTalk, stating there was an issue with my router. They seemed quite keen on getting me to hand over access to my computer, or so it appeared.
