What a bunch of dodgy scammers! I had a right joker ring me up, insisting my internet was running at a snail’s pace and that he could sort it out for me. He went on about being a tech whiz from BT, but the laugh's on him - I’ve never even been a customer of theirs! They must think I’m simple or something.

I got calls from 01241553573 on both the 13th of Oct and again today. They claimed my router was faulty, and then later the laptop had issues too - apparently bad phone line reception was the problem. I just ended the calls. They said they worked for Virgin Media, but I’m not convinced. Both calls came through my landline - very suspicious if you ask me. These kind of callers should honestly be dealt with properly!

They called saying it was Virgin Media about a connection problem. I told them I don't have a modem right now and then they just dropped the call. The line kept cutting out too, awful quality.

Got a call from someone saying they're BT Openreach, but the moment I told them it was a business number they just dropped the call. The voice had a strong accent and sounded like there was a lag, maybe through satellite or something.

I got a call from someone saying my internet was running slow and they were sorting it out. They told me I could ask for a number to ring them back, but warned it’d probably be busy. When I tried calling the number later, it was always engaged. Seems like I’ve been getting loads of these kinds of calls lately!

some woman with a foreign accent rang up, claiming to be from some fibre optic company or whatever. as soon as i started asking more questions, she hung up right away. typical!

This number keeps ringing me like twice every day, and it's super frustrating cuz I’m usually waiting for proper calls. A couple of weeks ago, another number like this kept bugging me, so I just blocked it. Now this one sounds almost the same, just the last three digits change. No idea why they’re messing about like this.
