I reported this number earlier because I got a call around 8:30am, but just now at about 2:05pm, a different call came through from 0124 152 8939 instead of the previous one, 0124 182 8171. Looks like they’re messing about with the last digits to dodge multiple complaints for the same scam. That 01241 code is from Arbroath, and the 52xxx series is linked to IPv6 Limited, a telecom provider registered with Ofcom. Does Action Fraud keep an eye on this website? It’s frustrating that the police haven’t managed to clamp down on these scammers yet.

Got a call at about 8:30am but they didn’t leave any voicemail. Looks like a spoofed number that’s been randomly generated. The area code 01241 is used for Arbroath and nearby places, so the number 01241 528171 might actually be real. According to Ofcom, numbers beginning with 0124152 are assigned to IPvé Limited.
