Got a recorded call from what looked like an Arbroath number, saying it was Amazon about my Prime membership. Some foreign-sounding voice claimed I’d been charged on my card and asked me to press 9 if I wanted to cancel or chat with someone. Definitely a scam - I just hung up. Using a local area code to trick people is clever but annoying. As far as I know, Amazon never calls customers from landlines like that. Best to just ignore these calls!
