Tried calling back but got nothing, just dead silence.

I said hi but they just stayed silent for a bit, didn’t say a word. I tried calling them back after that, but the number had vanished or something, couldn’t get through at all.

i heard some voices chatting in the background, then the caller shut off after around 5 seconds (i said hello a few times). i jotted down the number, but when i put it in after checking with 1471, it replied "the number you have dialed dont seem to be valid, please double check and try again!!"

I just received a call from this number. I let it ring for about a minute before I decided to dial 1471. After that, I hopped on my laptop to investigate. They must really be in a bind, calling me at half six in the evening!

Got a call just after 8 this evening from an Indian dude telling us we’d been in an accident. My husband kept saying we hadn’t, but the guy kept insisting. This back and forth went on for ages with my husband saying no every time. Eventually the guy snapped, “Why you wasting my time! Goodbye!” Proper muppet, lol.

The caller mumbled something about being from Accident UK or a similar name and inquired about a car accident I'd been involved in not long ago. When I pressed him for more details, he abruptly hung up without uttering another syllable. What an annoying individual!

I had a rather peculiar phone call from this number recently. When I inquired who was on the line, the voice on the other end was rather garbled, but managed to mumble something about accident services regarding a car crash. Quite baffling, considering I don't own a car and have never held a driving licence. I pressed for more information, only to have the chap abruptly hang up on me. Strangely enough, since that conversation, I've been inundated with numerous silent calls from numbers listed as 'unavailable'. Quite the nuisance, I must say!

These bloody morons always wind me up, and last night was no different. They rang me again at about 7.25pm and I just sat there in silence, but I could hear them yapping away in the background. So, I thought sod it, and threw some proper nasty racist stuff their way (like they could actually take me to court for that?). After shouting all the awful insults I could muster, I waited for them to respond, but they just went quiet and then cut me off. What a joke.

Got a couple of calls from 01240375684 tonight, both within half an hour. First was a woman with an Indian accent, then a man with the same accent called straight after. They were saying I could make a claim about an accident I allegedly had over the past couple of years? When I asked who exactly they were after and where they found my number, both ended up hanging up on me. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call about 8.05 this evening, sounded like some sort of call centre. An Asian gentleman was on the line but his accent was hard to catch, so I asked him to slow down and speak properly if he wanted me to get it. He then said it was about a recent car accident I supposedly had (which I haven’t!). Then he wanted to speak to the person who was supposedly involved. Nope, no one like that here. Just scammers and timewasters as usual. BT and those sat nav companies really ought to do something about these nuisance calls.

It seems my phone is constantly chiming away, ringing incessantly from dawn till dusk without a break!

I’ve been absolutely inundated with around 40 missed calls from this firm-no word of a lie! When I finally did pick up, I was left hanging for a good ten seconds before anyone said a word. And every single time, they were banging on about an accident I’d supposedly had, which is a right laugh since I don’t drive at all. My patience wore thin with their incessant ringing, so I finally snapped at the next caller, saying, “Look here, I’m truly fed up. I’ve never had an accident and I don’t even have a car. Could you kindly refrain from calling me?” To my utter shock, they responded with threats, saying they’d “f****** kill me” and asking who I thought I was. Absolutely appalling behaviour! Considering I work at a firm of solicitors, receiving such a deluge of calls in such a short span is totally unacceptable, not to mention the sheer audacity of being threatened for simply stating the truth. It’s all rather ludicrous, to be honest.

Just picked up a call from this number and there was absolutely no response. I greeted them a few times but all I got back was silence.

Today at 11:56 this number rung me, and as soon as I picked up, they cut the call straight away.

Got a call sayin I’d been in a car crash. I laughed and she went off on me, callin me a daft woman. I shot back, told her she was the silly one and to get lost, you rude cow.

I got a call from them, but it was dead quiet the whole time before they just ended the call.

So this number 01240375684 rang me and as soon as I picked up, they just dropped the call without saying a word. I decided to do a 1471 to check who it was, then typed the number into a search engine and found this website pretty quickly. Cheers to everyone here for the warnings!

Got a call from 01240375684 around midday today. It was just some annoying voice, sounded Asian, chatting nonsense and not really saying anything useful. Honestly, such time wasters. After reading what others said, I’m pretty sure they’re just up to mischief.

some bloke rang me saying he was from accident claims or something. I just said he’d got the wrong number and ended the call. Still, I’m curious who he actually was? Anyone know how I can block these calls from happening again?

Got a call from a woman with an asian accent, claiming she’d been in some kinda accident. As soon as I asked her name, she hung up sharpish. Feels dodgy to me, like they’re fishing for bank info. Wish BT would just block their number properly.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent around 4.38pm, claiming it was about a recent crash I’d supposedly been in. I quickly told them there was no accident and asked them to scrap my number from their list. Luckily, I hung up before any rude language came through - heard that's happened to others too. It's not the first time I’ve had calls like this, but no idea if it's always the same caller ID.

Got a call around 7:34 pm from someone with an Indian accent, talking about a car crash. Total waste of my time.

Got a call around 4.25 pm, no one said anything but I could hear people chatting faintly in the background.

Today around 3:05 in the afternoon, I picked up the phone but there was no response from the other end.
