Got loads of calls from this number. Every time I answer, it just rings straight away like I’m the one making the call. I end up hanging up right away. Think I might just disconnect the landline since I only use it for internet anyway. All I ever get are dodgy scam calls.

Received a call from this number earlier. Some man with an Indian accent was asking for someone who doesn’t live here anymore. I politely told him, and asked to take my number off his list. Instead, he asked if I’m Indian, I said no. Then he started insisting on my nationality, so I told him I hold a British passport. After that, he said something like “If you have a British passport then I’m coming to ### you.” I reported him to the police right away! Just be cautious, and honestly the best thing you can do is report these calls to the authorities!

We live up in the North West of Lancashire and have no links with anyone in Wales. A bloke rang up and asked if he should come over, then just dropped the call? The only Welsh person we know owns a pub nearby, and I've actually had a bit of a falling out with him not long ago!

I had a rather peculiar phone call at 17:15 on the 12th of September, 2017. When I picked up, there was a brief pause before an Asian gentleman's voice came through, inquiring if I was the head of the household, which was odd as he didn’t even mention my name. He claimed he only needed a couple of minutes of my time. I probed further, asking which company he represented and if he was calling from within the UK or from abroad. His response was rather evasive; he simply said, "Whatever you think is fine," before promptly hanging up on me. Quite strange, to say the least!

I got a call from this number too and when I asked them to take my info off their list, they just ignored me. They kept on chatting, so I said I was being polite but clearly they weren’t listening. Then I got a bit rude and told them to buzz off and hung up. Not long after, I got another call from an ‘unknown’ number and it was the same guy shouting swears at me nonstop, which honestly just made me laugh loads! Then he hung up. I can block the number but how on earth do you block calls from an unknown or hidden number?

Benefits UK. Some guy from India rang and wanted me to confirm my name and postcode. I told him no and said to take me off their list cos I’m sick of them calling all the time. Then he says he needs my password to do that! I told him he was having a laugh and if he didn’t remove my number, I’d report him to the police. Anyway, he’s blocked now.

Benefits UK, wow, what a company. It's like they got more branches across the country than the government itself, and they ring me up way too often. Honestly, if they didn’t butcher my name every time, I’d be even more ticked off. They even carry on like they know I’m terminally ill (which isn’t true), but that doesn’t stop them from bugging me daily to try and sell some life insurance or other rubbish. They’re just as annoying as a bit of sticky mess stuck to your dog's tail while you watch 'em try to get rid of it and just fail.
