WATCH OUT, IT’S TOTALLY A SCAM. Got a call on my landline on 18th Jan 2019, and it was one of those pre-recorded voice messages claiming to be from my internet company. It said something like, “Your internet connection is about to be suspended…” I’ve heard this type of message a few times before, usually they want to get into your computer or ask for cash to “fix” a problem. The dead giveaway here is that my real internet provider would never use a recorded message or be so vague without mentioning their actual company name. Definitely just a scam trying to trick you.
