I got a call where a recorded female voice with a British accent claimed to be from my internet company. She said there was some “illegal activity” linked to my account and warned that my internet would be cut off unless I replied. It told me to “Press 1 to talk to an agent...” I’ve received loads of similar calls from various UK and foreign numbers - some automated, others with real people on the line. I just assume they’re scams or spam and hang up straight away without pressing anything. Luckily, my internet’s still running fine!
