I got called twice this morning by someone claiming to be from Microsoft’s tech support saying my PC was hacked. The first call came in at 8am, then another one at 8:01. When I ignored the second, he got annoyed and asked why I’d cut off. I looked up the number on here and it’s tied to IONOS web services, so definitely the same bloke. It felt pretty uncomfortable, especially since I didn’t trust what he was saying.
