I have no clue who that was, they rang me but didn’t actually speak. After I heard a beep, someone in a really loud call centre muttered “call it” and then they just ended the call. Maybe I’ll try that next time someone annoys me? Like, hit 9 and softly say “call it” and see if they hang up!

This number has been blowing up my phone all day - gotten about 8 calls so far! I’m disabled and it’s really frustrating, I just want the calls to stop. Can anyone tell me how to block or report them? Need some help please!

Got a call from a guy who sounded Asian, not great at English. He claimed he was calling on behalf of BT and said I could get a 25% discount along with free line rental for 3 months. I asked why I hadn't received this offer in the post first. Then he asked to check my postcode, but when he read it back to me, it was all wrong. I corrected him and right after, he just ended the call. Quite dodgy if you ask me.

Just like the person before me, I had the same thing happen today. They guessed a postcode that wasn’t mine and I didn’t bother correcting them. I also got in touch with BT, who said it’s nothing to do with them and promised to look into it.

So annoying when I answer and there’s just silence on the other end, no one says a word. I’ve had enough and blocked the number now.

This number rang me early today, and the person on the other end just laughed before hanging up. Later on, around 1pm, I got another call from the same number. A bloke said he was from BT billing, but I haven’t used them for years. He kept going on about me being a loyal customer and offering discounts. I told him I’m not with BT anymore and to remove me from their list. Then, he rang straight back asking if I had a boyfriend and started being really annoying. I told him once more to stop calling and hung up.

Got a ring from this number around 8.30 on the morning of 16th Dec 2016. The person said they were from BT and could slash my bill by 30%. I told them I haven’t used BT in ages and then they just hung up on me. The caller's English was really poor and choppy. I can see how someone less alert might fall for it.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the UK preference service, sounded like he had a heavy accent. I told him I wasn’t interested and hung up straight away. Then the phone just started ringing non-stop again, probably over 20 times in a row. Quite annoying!
