Got three calls in a row at 9pm last night (always a bit sus) and then again at 8am from these same area codes. They've switched the actual number but kept the area code the same. Like most, I just don’t pick up and block straight away but honestly we gotta be careful with all these scammers targeting folks, especially with everything going on due to Covid.

Honestly, Eva, avoid this at all costs, its a total scam. They give ya a reference number but it aint valid at all. They claim they will put you through to someone else, but they never do. Instead, they just fake the voice but it’s the same person on the line. I swear, it happened to me, real as day.

I realised straight away it was one of those dodgy scam calls, so told the bloke if he wanted to carry on talking, it’d cost him £30 per minute or part of it. He went on about how he could manage that. Legit businesses don’t pull tricks like this. Classic scam, probably some guy pretending to be from Cardigan or using a fake number from there.
