A woman, maybe of Asian descent, called claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. She asked how I was doing. I asked her the same, and she just said "I don't know." I couldn't help but laugh, and she joined in. Then I threw in a couple of phrases in different languages. They usually start with "How are you today?" so if you flip the question back, instead of giving more details, they kinda lose their connection. Plus, you might end up sharing a chuckle like I did.

Got a call saying they were from "Carephone Warehouse" about upgrading to the 12 Pro Max for £45 a month - mentioned an upfront fee that’d be "paid back" in a week.
