Received a call from someone claiming to represent Carphone Warehouse. They were quite insistent, asking for my name, address, and even bank details! They mentioned something about signing me up for a new plan with phone-E-phone due to their superior coverage. When I declined, the chap had the audacity to tell me to shove off! If you try to ring back, they seem to pretend to be an energy provider but hang up after a mere few moments. Definitely looks like a scam to me!

I got a call from someone claiming to be with Carphone Warehouse. After I ended that call, a short while later my phone rang again but this time it was from a Bangor number in North Wales. The caller was trying to convince me they could offer me a better deal than my existing contract.

So, the caller said they were from "utility warehouse," but I honestly never registered for anything like that, so I'm pretty sure it's some kind of scam. The lady was quite polite though when I told her I was going to hang up.

When I picked up, all I got was silence, then suddenly some odd clicking sounds. I figured it must've been one of those automated sales calls.

I requested the caller to clarify their location three separate times, yet I still couldn’t make heads or tails of their response. They mentioned something about a phone, but it was all rather muddled. They kicked off the conversation with the typical ‘How are you this morning?’ which made me suspect it was either a sales pitch or some sort of scam. Quite fishy, if you ask me!

I received a rather dubious call today. The person on the other end claimed to be contacting me regarding a promotion from Carphone Warehouse. I was a bit taken aback, as I’ve never even made a purchase there! When I inquired how they acquired my number, the caller became quite agitated and dismissive, before abruptly ending the conversation. Clearly, just another attempt by scammers to pull a fast one!

I’d recommend you steer clear of this number. It’s a bunch of fraudsters posing as HMRC, claiming there's a tax refund waiting for me. I decided to have a bit of fun and mess with them instead.

I received a phone call from a woman, but honestly, I could hardly make out what she was saying. It had something to do with an iPhone, but the details were all jumbled.

I received a rather peculiar phone call from a couple of gentlemen claiming to be representing "Carphone Warehouse." They were ardently trying to persuade me to "upgrade" to an iPhone 13. When I mentioned that I struggled to catch what they were saying, they started raising their voices and began ranting in Urdu. Matters escalated when I expressed my interest in the iPhone 14, only to be told they could merely provide the "thirteen model." Not keen on outdated tech, I cheekily suggested the iPhone 13.5, at which point a supposed "supervisor" joined the fray. To my surprise, he couldn't fulfil my request for the famed "iPhone thirteen and a half" but offered me some "Samsung options" instead-though not the Note 17 that I had my eye on. Following this, I was met with what I can only assume were colourful expletives in Urdu, before being abruptly cut off. Quite the professional operation, wouldn’t you say?

I received a rather vile call from someone who couldn’t keep their lascivious thoughts to themselves. They tossed around some rather crude language, including terms like “screw.” The way they spoke was quite broken, reminiscent of an Indian accent. Honestly, it’s baffling how some people manage to find such repugnant ways to pass the time. What an absolute plonker!
