Got a voicemail from someone claiming my IP had been hacked in multiple countries. They said they’d fix it for free if I just pressed 1 to chat with a tech guy. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

Got a recorded message claiming it's from B.T saying my net would be cut off in a day as my IP address was supposedly hacked. It kept telling me to hit 1 to speak to someone (DO NOT PRESS ANY BUTTONS - SCAM ALERT). This annoying call has been happening non-stop for about a week now.

Got a call from an unknown number and all I could hear was silence. Really hope they just leave me alone now.

I got a call from an automated number claiming to be my internet service provider, but the weird thing was the accent sounded American. Very dodgy if you ask me!

Just got a call about changing my IP address, reckon it might be from Northern Ireland this time, with the last ones coming from Carmarthen and Bideford. Same rubbish, just different spots. There’s gotta be loads of folks whose job is basically to annoy us daily. Bet they go home feeling pretty chuffed with themselves after a hard day’s work.
