My landline got a robotic call saying they were "updating my IP address at no cost, press 1 to talk to a tech". I didn’t respond or anything. Then about half an hour later, a different number (01674259856) called me again.

Got a couple calls from this number today but luckily my BT Guardian blocked them both times! Honestly, I’d say everyone should get one of these phones. They’re brilliant at stopping scam calls dead in their tracks. It’s only like £2.50 a month for caller ID, which is a small price to pay if it means no more annoying or dodgy calls. If enough people used these, it would make life much harder for the scammers!

Over the past four days, I received a call each day about my IP number supposedly being changed, and all the messages were left on my voicemail. My daughter also got one like that, but when she started questioning the bloke, he got quite annoyed. She ended up reporting it to BT, who confirmed it was a scam.

I got the same call two times in one day. The second time, it was an American lady ringing me but from another number (01237897463). Really unpleasant experience.

I got one of those automated calls too, told me my internet was gonna get cut off. Definitely a scam. I've just blocked this number using BT's call protect feature.

I keep receiving these blasted calls claiming that my account's been violated in multiple countries! It's always the same recorded message urging me to press 1 to chat with a technician. They’ve been ringing incessantly, every hour on the hour, and the messages just pile up on my voicemail. How utterly annoying!

Got a recorded call telling me to press one to talk to a tech, but I just ignored it and ended the call. Best not to reply.

I've been receiving a persistent recorded message claiming that my IP address has been hacked and is apparently being used across multiple countries. They keep ringing every hour and just leave the same message on my voicemail, urging me to press 1 to chat with a technician. It's pretty annoying, to say the least!

Twice this week I've had a call from 01237897524, an automated message claiming my internet's been hacked across a few countries and will be cut off in a day. It told me to press 1 to talk to a technician. I just ended the call and plan to report it to BT.

I got a robocall telling me my internet provider number was compromised and would be shut down, but they'd reissue it at no cost. Then it asked me to press 1 to talk to a technician, which I stupidly did. After that, the call just dropped. I rang my ISP, EE, to make sure nothing funny was going on with my account. They checked everything and said all was fine. Their advice was just to ignore and hang up if I get that call again. No clue what these scammers are after with this one.

Got a dodgy voicemail claiming my internet got hacked in multiple countries - which it definitely hasn't. I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

Got a robocall saying my internet got hacked by loads of countries and it’ll be cut off in the next day. They said if I press 1, they’d connect me to a tech to sort it out. Obviously, I just ended the call straight away.
