I received a call from this number on the 17th of November, and it was completely silent. After reading various reports here, it seems to be the same individual who's contacted me multiple times using different numbers, some of which are local to Hampshire. I typically indulge his inquiries for as long as possible, pretending to be genuinely concerned about dampness in my loft due to poor insulation. He suggests that he can remedy the issue and even provide a quote for spray foam insulation on the rafters. It's blatantly a scam. He often probes whether I make decisions independently or if I consult with family members, seemingly targeting those living alone.

Got a call from Simple Simon yesterday arvo, started spouting some insulation spiel before I told him to jog on. These calls are wrecking any chance of trusting that a call from someone who isn’t family or mates is legit. There’s heaps of proof there for Action Fraud to look into if they actually cared.

I received a phone call from a chap named Simon who claimed to represent a local firm offering home boiler insurance. I mentioned that I was already covered, and he promptly ended the call. Clearly, it seems like a bit of a con to me. I find it rather troubling that they were able to reach my number, especially considering I've been ex-directory for more than two decades. Got called twice by this number in under 10 minutes. Spoke to a young lad and told him he must be mistaken if he thinks we had loft insulation done through the Government scheme. I ended the call straight away. They phoned my elderly dad at 12:05 and again at 12:16 today, Thurs 19/11/20. Properly disgraceful!

Got a call today from someone saying my property's insulation is faulty and that they needed to do another survey. When I explained it's actually a commercial site, not a home, they just ended the call straight away.

Some bloke called "Christian" from "Medical Alert" keeps ringing up folks who are worried about COVID, probably targeting those who are on their own. If he was really a proper "Christian," he wouldn't be pestering vulnerable people like that. Absolutely dreadful behaviour.

Just like the other appointments. Loft insulation people, super pushy and rude. Kept insisting on visiting straight away! I told them no thanks, sounds dodgy, scam alert, and then they actually hung up on me!

Got a call from someone called "Simon" about loft insulation - this must be the third or fourth time now. Supposedly he's replying to a question I made. Every time I ask if I'm the homeowner, he just says, "Which property do you mean?" and then hangs up. Definitely feels dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone saying his name was "Simon" about government delays and something about equipment I supposedly installed. I get these calls a few times daily and it’s been going on for a few weeks. It’s always the same bloke, but he uses different names each time. I just cut him off and hang up before he can finish. When I’ve asked questions before, he just drops the call immediately.

Some bloke called Simon, claiming he was from a government scheme dealing with loft insulation and told me there was a condensation issue. He said not to fret, as they'd set up a site visit. These scammers must be working around the clock. Seriously, steer clear of them. If you sign up for the 1572 service, you can just ring 1572 after one of these dodgy calls, and it'll block that number for good, so they can’t bother you again. Feels quite good to shut them down like that.

Got a call earlier today from someone saying they were from a disability assistance service. They wanted to know if my husband owned the house and asked about his age bracket. The voice sounded robotic, going quiet unless my husband spoke louder. When he tried asking questions back, the caller just ignored him or didn’t seem to get what he was saying. Definitely felt like a scam, so he just ended the call.

Just like loads of others, got a call from someone named Simon about some government-backed loft insulation they claim we’ve had fitted. When I questioned him about it, he just hung up straight away. Surely they don’t expect us to be daft enough to believe that? There’s no way I wouldn’t be aware if that’d actually been done!

Got a call on Thursday 19/11/20 at about 10:07 am. My number’s listed as ex-directory and also signed up with the TPS. Let it ring out to voicemail but there was no message. After reading some of the reviews here, I’m glad I didn’t bother answering. These calls are just so irritating and a total waste of time. With loads of people complaining about this number, why isn’t it blocked for misuse? Would be great if the site had a “time waster” or “annoying” category too!

He said his name was Simon and said it concerned loft insulation done with some Government funding. I told him I'd had a call like that yestaday from someone else in his team who just hung up on me, then this bloke did the same! No idea what the scam is about, possibly they’re just fishing for vulnerable folks who might get confused since they didn’t really want to chat. I tried calling back to complain but the number was dead.

SCAM - Got a call about loft insulation (supposedly government supported) which I never signed up for. The guy called himself "Simon" and spoke with a friendly West Country accent. Didn’t let him start his usual “Oh dear, maybe you forgot” spiel. Blocked the number straight away.

I’ve had two calls from this number today, even though my number is on the Telephone Preference Service list. Both times, I ignored the call and let it ring through to voicemail, but they never left any message.

Same here, got a call from this number claiming something about an old loft job and saying it'll lead to damp and mould. Just like those other phone scammers, I played along for a bit, then after a while I just told them I wasn’t interested in whatever nonsense they were selling.
