Some bloke with an Asian accent rang up and had a really lengthy chat with an older lady about someone messing about with her bank account, though no bank was mentioned. She sounded proper vulnerable, poor thing. I tried jumping in but couldn’t get a word in - felt like maybe it was a recording or a one-sided call. It went on forever so I just ended up hanging up. He was telling her to fetch her recent statement from upstairs just as I left. Oddly enough, nothing got logged on my phone.

Got a robocall claiming to be HMRC, said it was about some tax evasion issue. They wanted me to press 1 or else i'd face court action. Proper scare tactic!

I didn’t pick up because I didn’t recognise the number, and I’m not familiar with the location either. Decided to just block it.
