I got a call from a bloke who said he'd been passed on from BT to warn me that my internet was about to be cut off. The whole thing sounded like one of those dodgy recorded messages. I ended up telling the bloke exactly what I thought of him and hung up sharpish. I've now blocked the number and reported it to BT, because it’s pretty clear this was just some scam trying to get folks to press a number and get charged through the nose.
