Got a call warning me that my number is about to get cut off!

I got a call from a lady with a US accent telling me our internet was hacked and we had to sort it out within a day. She said to press 1 to speak to a tech person. We didn’t do anything because it felt dodgy. We keep getting calls like this nearly every day, including one from a Scottish number. Today the same number called again. We’ve no idea anyone from Bideford or Coatridge in Scotland, so it’s clearly some sort of scam.
