Got a call on 6th Feb from some recorded message saying my internet was gonna be cut off in 24 hours because of suspicious calls from overseas messing with the service. Seemed like a total scam to me. They told me to hold on for an operator or adviser, but obviously, no one came. Then today, 8th Feb, I got the same automated message again but from a different number, 01228 669 422 this time. I’m really worried now, should I get in touch with my internet provider?
