Got a robo call with a woman’s voice telling me my Amazon Prime membership had just been renewed for £39.99 and if I want to chat with an Amazon rep, I should press 1. The thing is, I don’t even have Amazon Prime and they’ve never had my landline number before! Bet they’ll ring from another number next time, so blocking this one seems pretty pointless.

Got a recorded message telling me my free month trial with Amazon Prime was over and from now on I'd be charged £39.99 each month. Thing is, I've never signed up for Amazon Prime at all. I just hung up and didn’t press any buttons because it sounded dodgy. Plus, they didn’t even say my name, so no way it’s legit. Definitely a scam.
