Got two phone calls, first one was a recorded voice saying my Amazon account got compromised and to press 1 for details. I just hung up straight away. The second call cut off right after I picked up.

I almost got caught out by a scam claiming to be from Amazon Prime. As soon as I hit 1 on the phone, I hung up straight away. The odd thing that threw me for a second was that Amazon had somehow tricked me into signing up for Prime while I was buying something online. Trying to cancel it was a real faff, so for a moment I wondered if that phone call was linked to all that. Feels like shoppers are really stuck in a tough spot these days - not the best situation at all.
