This was definitely a scam. The person on the phone said they were from Vodafone and started asking for my personal info. Things got dodgy when they wanted my bank details and then I got an email from Vodafone about resetting my password. The caller then wanted the temporary password from that email. I told them no and asked for their full name on the account, and that’s when they just ended the call.

I picked up a call on my phone, only to be met with an eerie silence. Shortly after, a man with a foreign accent introduced himself as being from Carphone Warehouse, claiming he required details about my network provider.
