i got a call from someone saying they were with edinburgh research, but as soon as i began asking them stuff, they just hung up on me.

Answered the call but it just got disconnected on their end.

I got a call from this number while waitin for a REALLY important call. They actually said my name which was odd. Told them it wasn’t a great time to chat and they said alright, they’d let me be. This number has rung me up a few times before but I usually just ignore it.

The call came from a local number so I picked up. They said they were with some Scotland research group and then asked if I owned my house - which they already knew since they gave my exact address. They told me I might win a voucher and asked if I’d rather have one for a kitchen or a bathroom if I won. I’m usually quite careful about sharing stuff about myself, so I’m guessing they must have got my info from somewhere. I’ve put the number on block now.
