Got a call with a recorded message saying there was something wrong with my internet and an issue with my IP address. It told me to press 1 for BT and 2 for other providers. When I checked the number with 1471, it showed a local exchange, so it’s easy to see why some might think it’s legit. Not sure if they do this kind of trick in other places though.
