Got a call earlier from someone claiming they worked for Accisent and the Claims team. They said they had my accident file, gave my birthday and address, and then claimed I hadn’t got any payout for the accident. I told them the case was all sorted and I was fine with it. Then they went on about a passenger, but I said if they looked at my file properly, they’d see I was on my own, then I just ended the call. Think the bloke said his name was Michael and he sounded Asian. Definitely a scam.

They actually knew my name, but when I told them I wasn’t that person, they just kept saying I’d been in a car crash. I kept telling them to stop, that they’d got the wrong person, yet they didn’t listen. It was an Indian guy who struggled with English. Such a pushy and annoying call.

Some dodgy firm called me about a motor accident claim. The lady sounded Filipino but said her name was Mary and named some company. I just told her to "Get lost!" Didn't say yes or no cause who knows if they’ll use my voice to scam someone or open a fake account.

Got a call from some Indian lady claiming to be Mary Smith about a car crash from two years ago. The accident actually happened four years back and I already got paid for it. She wouldn’t remove my number from her list so I ended up blocking her. Not surprised though, she’s probably just part of some big calling database with loads of numbers.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent asking for my wife by name, but she wasn’t around. Then she asked me to confirm the number, which was actually wrong, but I just said yes thinking it might put her off. She then went on about some accident I was supposedly involved in last year, said it wasn’t my fault. Thing is, I haven’t had any accident, but she kept insisting she had details about a crash with two people in the car. I asked why she wanted my wife if it was about me, and she just said she’d ring back soon. Pretty obvious she’s a new scammer!

I waited on the line for a few mins, could hear some noise in the background so assumed it was them, but then they just hung up. These callers seriously should be put behind bars, their nonstop annoying calls could lead to accidents. Just last week, I got a call at 4am which scared me so much I nearly fell trying to get to the phone. Then again at 7.30 on a Sunday morning, and no number left. It’s really unsettling and stressful.
