Somebody said they were from BT but since I don't use their services, I just ended the call.

Someone just rang me claiming to be from TalkTalk tech support saying my phone line was about to get cut off today and I needed to press 1. Seems like TalkTalk users are getting hit by some sort of scam right now! Has TalkTalk said anything about dealing with this?
