Got a recorded call with bits I couldn’t quite catch, something about “critical” and “press 1 to talk to an adviser”. But when I pressed 1, the message just looped over again. Tried calling back a few times but no answer, just a prompt to leave a message you can’t even send. Bit frustrating really.

Got a call that said it was from the national crime agency, but it was a recorded message with an American or Canadian accent. I reported it straight away to the UK's National Crime Agency just in case. Definitely felt like a scam to me.
