I said I wasn’t really familiar with PPI, so he passed me onto his manager who spoke English a bit oddly. Then the manager asked if I could speak Hindi, I said yes and he switched to Hindi. He asked if I ever took out a loan before, but I said no. He claimed I had a £5000 loan back in 2005 and was eligible for compensation.
