I received a call claiming I was involved in a car accident from as far back as two years ago. I promptly informed the caller that they were mistaken, and they hung up on me. The area code 012365 is unfamiliar to me, though it seems to resemble those used in North Lanarkshire. The caller had an Asian accent, which leads me to believe this is likely a scam.

As soon as we enquired about how they obtained our name regarding this call, they promptly hung up. It was rather rude and certainly felt as if they were trying to conceal something.
