I received a call earlier today from someone claiming to be Jack. When I inquired who he was, he identified himself as being from Consumer UK. I reminded him that I was registered with the Telephone Preference Service (T.P.S.), to which he responded rather dismissively, “so what?” I reiterated my T.P.S. status, only for him to respond in the same brusque manner. His tone was quite off-putting, so I firmly told him to remove himself from the "bloody phone" and not to contact me again. His reaction was appalling; he resorted to calling me all sorts of names and told me to “f*** off.” I informed him that I would be lodging a complaint with OFCOM before hanging up.

I suspect this might be a dodgy caller as they didn’t respond when I picked up.
