I received a recorded message from the number 01236 525585 earlier today. They claimed that my Amazon account would be debited through my bank account and prompted me to press 1 for more information. Definitely a scam and quite bothersome! Apparently, it’s a landline from Coatbridge in the UK, but I haven’t the foggiest idea which firm is behind this or who they really are.
