They wanted me to verify some security info, but I said I never give out that kind of stuff on calls. Next thing I know, they just ended the call. Watch out for these!

Someone rang pretending to be from Bank of Scotland but couldn’t even say my name or any info they’d honestly have on file. They never tried to verify me with any security questions either. Instead, they just went ahead and asked me for the full card number to ‘verify’ some supposed debt I supposedly owed. I don’t owe anything, TBH, I don’t even have an overdraft. I rang the official number on the back of my card afterwards, and they told me it definitely wasn’t them.

I got calls on both my mobile and landline from this number, but no messages were left. The last three digits keep changing slightly with these calls from similar numbers. I have no idea who they are.
