Got a call claiming to be from Amazon, saying they’d taken over a grand from my account for some order. What a load of rubbish! Honestly, anyone who falls for this sort of con deserves a bit of sympathy, but I can’t believe people actually believe it. They must think we’re all mugs!

Received a call from 01916053155 yesterday. After looking the number up, I found out it was a survey firm. I rang BT on 1572 to get it blocked. They mentioned the previous troublesome number was actually 01236457837, which is completely different. Seems like they’re getting quite sneaky. Anyway, I’ve blocked both numbers now. I’m really annoyed by this number. Every time I pick up, the person on the other end just hangs up straight away. They’ve been ringing from loads of fake Scottish numbers this round - it’s clearly a fresh scam going around. Just be as cheeky and unpleasant as you want with them. Got a call from a random call centre again, this time it was quite early morning. When I asked them why they were ringing so early they just cut off. Adding another number to my blocked list for sure. Sounds like it could be a company called Benefit UK or something like that.
