Just like the other calls, it was one of those overseas call centres. They wanted to talk to the business owner, and I said, "Who exactly?" since we've got a limited company with multiple shareholders. Then they asked for my boss, and I told them, "No sorry, there's no boss here," because I'm the managing director. They said thanks and ended the call. This was the second time today I got one of these calls, and the background noise and delay were eerily alike. The other number showed up as an 020 code, but obviously, it was all rubbish.

Got a call from some bloke claiming he was with a phone company, wanted to chat to the business owner about slashing our bills each month. After getting one of those pestering calls earlier this morning, I wasn’t having any of it and just told him I wasn’t interested before ending the call. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now, as I’m getting proper sick of these constant annoying calls ruining my day. Funny thing is, the area code showed as Coatbridge, Scotland!? Either way, that number’s blocked for good.
