On Saturday 8th June 2019, around 2:10pm, this number rang me. There was a recorded message claiming to be from British Telecom, warning that my IP address had been breached by someone abroad. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to talk to an agent. I pressed 1 just to see what would happen, and it took me to what sounded like a busy call centre with several people chatting. However, when I tried to speak, nobody replied and then the call suddenly dropped. I ended up reporting it to Action Fraud.
