I keep getting calls from a number that doesn’t show up, they say it’s BT about my internet, but I’m with TalkTalk. It’s really annoying because it’s probably the same caller ringing again and again.

this number rang me, saying they were from talk talk and warning me that my internet router was apparently sending out suspicious security alerts. they wanted me to switch on my computer so they could guide me through sorting the problem. i hung up straight away. funny enough, i had an email from talk talk last week saying my internet wasn’t performing well and giving me a link to book an engineer.
