I got a few calls from these lot saying some company in California had hacked my phone. Then today, I come back to find a voicemail warning me my line would be cut off today. I phoned up my phone provider straight away and they said it’s definitely a scam.

I received a call from a rather robotic voice, purporting to be from BT, insisting they were phoning to address an issue we were facing-although I seriously doubt it! I chose not to engage, hung up, and promptly blocked the number. Quite the enigma, really!
