I hung up right away the instant I answered.

might be a scam - rang saying they’re from some medical group promoting an emergency alarm device for folks over 50, claiming it works inside, outside, even in the shower and uses satellite tech. they said it’s free but you have to pay £30 each month. When I asked their location, they said Dorset, but a quick phone lookup showed the number’s actually from Abingdon, Oxfordshire. they promised to send info by post, so we’ll wait and see how that goes!
