I typically rely on caller ID, so I allowed this call to head straight to voicemail. I caught some faint rustling noises, possibly someone rifling through paperwork, yet there was no actual conversation. In the end, they just disconnected.

I let the call go unanswered since I had no idea who was ringing from Abingdon.

I received some requests from them to send over updated warranties for my appliances. The thing is, I’m not actually insured through their service and they seem to have no clue about what appliances I own. So, I’ve decided to block them now.

Picked up the call, only for them to ask for me by name. As soon as I confirmed it was me, they promptly disconnected. Odd behaviour!
