I received a call from someone claiming to be from Lloyds Bank, stating they needed to discuss some unusual activity on my card. They had my full name and even called both my home and mobile, leaving a message to get back to them. Naturally, I didn’t return the call.

Received a call from this number, picked up, but it was silent on the other end. Clearly just another pestering sales or spam attempt. I've since added it to my blocked contacts.

Received a call from 01235627008, claiming to be from Amazon. The chap inquired whether I was the primary account holder for an order. When I quizzed him about his records to verify that, he started rambling on about an order. I then requested that he send me the details in writing since he'd already have my address. He abruptly hung up on me.

I've received a second call from this number in less than an hour. Strangely enough, as soon as I picked up, they disconnected immediately. Quite peculiar, if you ask me!

I received a phone call from someone who had an Indian accent claiming to be from Vodafone. The line was terribly crackly and felt quite remote. It didn’t sit right with me, so I ended up ending the call and blocking the number.

I didn't recognise the number, so I opted not to pick up. There was no voicemail left either. After browsing through the comments here, it looks like it might be a dodgy call.

I tend to ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise. If there's no voicemail, I reckon it’s nothing urgent, and most likely a scam attempt. I always come back to this website to see if there are any insights or warnings. Seems like this one’s just another dodgy caller.

I've just received my second call from an unfamiliar number in Abingdon in less than a quarter of an hour. When I picked up the phone, there was complete silence on the other end. I've gone ahead and blocked both of these numbers now.
